German chemicals group BASF plans to cultivate a type of potato with genetically-modified organisms in Germany and Sweden in 2011, the company said on Monday. Two hectares of the GMO potato Amflora will be cultivated in Germany and 15 hectares in Sweden, BASF Crop Science said.
