Long-term feed trials with genetically modified Bt maize: no influence on cows’ milk in German study

Genetically modified Bt maize in feed has no influence on the health of cows or on their milk production. The results of a two-year feed trial were presented by the Bavarian Agricultural Ministry at a committee meeting of the Bavarian Parliament on 25 March. Even with the latest analysis techniques, it was confirmed that there was no transfer of transgenic components to the milk.
