Medical researcher wants Kenya to review Biosafety Act

Dr Willy Tonui, of KEMRI and founding President of the African Biological Safety Association (AfBSA) said it should escape members of public that the Biosafety Act as it is currently emanated from consultations that began in 1998 and mainly aimed at domesticating the Cartegena Protocol which although important then, are no longer a priority to many countries.
