Environs Kimberley disappointed at GM cotton move in Australia

Environs Kimberley says it is frustrated that the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator has issued a licence for the commercial release of five lines of genetically modified (GM) cotton.

The lines have already been grown commercially in southern Australia and the moves will pave the way for GM varieties to be grown in the Kimberley's Ord River area.
